IV Lighting LLC, doing business as IV Outdoor Lighting ("we," "us"), provides permanent and landscape lighting services to Chicago-area homeowners through ivoutdoorlighting.com. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
Contact information you give us. When you request a visualization or quote, we ask for your first name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and which lighting service interests you.
Photos you upload. To create your AI visualization, you upload a photo of a home. We use it only to create your visualization, as described below.
Technical information. Like most websites, our server sees your IP address. We use it to protect the service from abuse and in routine server logs.
How we use your information

How your photo is processed
Your photo is processed with the help of trusted technology providers to generate the lighting visualization. The generated image is returned directly to you in your browser, marked as an AI visualization.
When you generate a design after providing your contact information, we save that before-and-after image pair and host it at a private, unguessable web address so we can deliver your design to you and refer to it when we follow up. The "Create shareable link" button on your result reveals that address so you can send it to anyone you like. Anyone who has the link can view the page, and the pages are excluded from search engines. Email us at any time to have a design page and its images deleted.
Where your information lives
Your contact details are delivered to our business inbox and recorded in our customer records. We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the business, and access is limited to our team.
What we share (and what we never do)
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with our service providers, as needed to operate, or if the law requires it. We use analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) that set cookies to measure how visitors find and use the site, including anonymous events like starting the visualizer or submitting a quote request. These tools receive usage data, not the contact details you type into our forms. You can block them with standard browser settings or extensions and the site works fine.
How long we keep it
We keep lead and customer contact information for as long as it is useful for serving you. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
Email us at trent@ivoutdoorlighting.com to ask what information we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. If we send marketing emails, every one will include an unsubscribe link.
Children
Our site and services are intended for homeowners and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
